Lindsay LaVanchy on Her First Lead Role In Slasher Thriller Initiation [Exclusive Interview]

Initiation - Lindsay LaVanchy and Isabella Gomez

Many leading actresses started their careers with horror movies. For Lindsay LaVanchy, the slasher film Initiation is an intense edge of your seat thriller that’ll leave you guessing who’s behind the mask.

Here’s the synopsis:

During a university’s pledge week, the carefree partying turns deadly serious when a star athlete is found impaled in his dorm. The murder ignites a spree of sinister social-media messages, sweeping the students and police into a race against time to uncover the truth behind the school’s dark secrets, and the horrifying meaning of a recurring symbol: a single exclamation mark.

The film also stars Jon Huertes (ABC’s Castle), Isabella Gomez (One Day at a Time), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), Gattlin Griffith (Labor Day), Patrick Walker (The Resident), Bart Johnson (High School Musical franchise), Shireen Lai (Rocky’s Galaxy), Kent Faulcon (For Better or Worse) with Yancy Butler (Witchblade), and Lochlyn Munro (CW’s Riverdale).

John Berardo directed the movie from a script written by him with Brian Frager and Lindsay LaVanchy.
