Loki to have more impact says Kevin Feige

Loki to have more impact on the MCU than previous Disney + shows so far according to Marvel President Kevin Feige. It’s clear that both WandaVision and Falcon and The Winter Soldier will have larger implications for the MCU as a whole. Though if Feige is saying that Loki will have more impact than those, it must be really important right? I mean WandaVision sets up both Multiverse of Madness and No Way Home far as we can tell. Then, Falcon and The Winter Soldier gave us the new MCU Captain America.

Speaking with Empire Feige said,

“It’s tremendously important. It perhaps will have more impact on the MCU than any of the shows thus far,” he tells Empire in the new issue. “What everybody thought about WandaVision, and was sort of true, and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, which was sort of true, is even more sort of true for Loki.”

Coy as ever from Feige, though he is an expert at saying a lot without saying anything. So I wonder what he means by what we thought was true? Sadly, this does not mean Mephisto confirmed, as Loki’s writer already ruled that out. I am therefore unclear as to what exactly Feige means. However one possibility could be the rumored appearance of Kang within Loki. Most speculation seems to be lining up Kang as the next big bad of the MCU. If this is the show that ‘creates’ that arc within the MCU, then yes it’s got a huge impact.

Though, until we actually het a few episodes into Loki, we might just be wildly speculating here. Episode 1 of Loki hits Disney+ tomorrow. I guess by then we will know a little more at least? I am looking forward to watching Loki, hope it does not disappoint.

What do you think of Kevin Feige’s comments on Loki to have more impact than other show so far on the MCU?
