I can’t wait till Disney+ finally releases here in the UK, for those of you elsewhere, you have it already. Thankfully, it seems like I won’t be missing out on any of the new MCU content as it releases here on March, 31st. The first MCU show due to hit the new streaming platform is Falcon and the Winter Soldier, currently still filming in Atlanta.
We know very little about this show, but we do know a few things. For one we know that Daniel Bruhl is back as ‘Baron’ Zemo and we also know that US Agent will be making his MCU debut. We can make assumptions based on a few details that US Agent is being pushed as the Captain America replacement by ‘someone’ official (see more below). This will likely cause conflict with Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, considering as far as they are both concerned, we have a new Cap, and that’s Sam.

However, this weekend we had an interesting social media post from the user name Atlanta Filming, who has posted a ton of set photos and details in the past. Saying that, someone on Reddit has screen dumped the image and we can certainly provide a link below to that and a transcript of what was said. So here it is, no spoilers, but interesting none the less.
“For Civil War, I remember being told “Hey Crossbones is here” and just being blown away. Today, is like that. I shot Ghost too but that was less exciting as I knew who Ghost was…I had to Google this mutha fucka! TIL Marvel Edition.”
Now, who this could be is literally anyone’s guess at this point. There are thousands of characters who appeared in the Marvel comics that have not yet made their way into the MCU. However, this could also be quite simple, and the character is actually just US Agent. There is no reason to assume this person would follow the little bits of MCU news we do, given their actual job. As said above, we have known a little about US Agent since November. Below is a social media post from scooper Charles Murphy showing what looks like the world being introduced to US Agent.

Now, I am not saying this is the same character, I could be very wrong, I just think it’s a possibility we have to consider. This could have been the first time that the character appeared on set in Atlanta, as the previous shots were on location in the stadium pictured. I am already hearing fans predicting almost everyone considered a villain that has not been in the MCU yet, so there really is no current way to narrow this down. I just don’t hear many fans wondering if it is simply US Agent, and I present that as a possibility only.
