Lost In Space Season 3 Trailer Shows Inevitable Conclusion By Reuniting Robinson Family

Lost in Space Season 3

The final and third season of Netflix’s Lost in Space is nearly upon us. During this remarkable sci-fi series, we watched Will Robinson go through his growth spurts as he and his family trek across the galaxy to the colony while being pursued by nefarious robots.

The entire cast returns for their final confrontation, including Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey. Zack Estrin serves as the series creator and showrunner.

Here is the official synopsis:

In the third and final season of Lost in Space, the stakes are higher than ever and the Robinson family’s survival instincts will be put to the ultimate test. After a year of being trapped on a mysterious planet, Judy, Penny, Will, and the Robot must lead the 97 young Colonists in a harrowing evacuation—but not before secrets are unearthed that will change their lives forever. Meanwhile John and Maureen—with Don at their side—must battle overwhelming odds as they try to reunite with their kids. The Robinsons will have to grapple with the emotional challenge of not just being lost—but being separated from the ones they love…as they face the greatest alien threat yet.

It’s a bit ironic that the new rebooted series of Lost in Space couldn’t outlast the original 1960s series. Nonetheless, the series started off with plenty of fanfare, and it focused too much on battling these alien robots rather than exploring the galaxy. It would’ve been nice if the family Robinsons visited more galactic worlds and encounter different aliens. Alas, with the tremedous special effects in each episode, it was probably too much cost for Legendary and Netflix to bear.

Lost in Space sets its premiere date for the final season on December 1st.
