Made For Love Is Returning For Season 2 On HBO Max

The series, Made for Love, was released in April of this year and is based on Alissa Nutting’s novel with the same name. I watched Made for Love when it was released. Hell, I’ve watched it twice already. This dark comedy is crazy and exciting. I couldn’t wait for a season 2 and I’ve been keeping my eye out for news of it. HBO Max is giving Made for Love a second season. Great! Now, I just need to be patient for its release.

If you haven’t had the chance to check out Made for Love, here’s HBO Max’s synopsis from their trailer:

Made for Love is an adaptation based on the tragicomic novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. The series follows Hazel Green, a thirtysomething woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to an unstable, needy, possibly sociopathic tech billionaire. Soon she discovers that her husband has already implanted a revolutionary monitoring device – the Made for Love– in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her, and know her thoughts and feelings as she tries to stay alive.

Season Renewal

HBO Max’s executive vice president of comedy and adult animation, Suzanna Makkos:

Made for Love is funny, dark, and entirely unique. We are thrilled to be reuniting with this dream team of talented producers, incredible cast, and CGI dolphins to tell the next chapter of this exciting story.

Made for Love will be getting a season 2

It’ll be great to see what co-showrunners, Christina Lee and Alissa Nutting, will create for the second season of Made for Love. Also, I can’t wait to see Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, and Ray Romano on screen again. There’s no news on a release date yet, but I’ll be looking out for it.
