The latest Barside Buzz is a casting description for the Man of Tomorrow villain, or one of them according to the rumor. Now, there’s been a lot of speculation on this, so I’m not going to get into that. For me the description is vague enough to be anything. But you can see what the source speculates for yourself below.
There’s also whether this is legit or not? It passes my smell test. However, by no means am I ready declare NPN, who this rumor is from as a top tier leaks source. So far, they’ve been pretty solid though I have to say. This is also vague/basic enough that it seems redundant to claim, unless it is legit.
Here’s what they say,
‘Sources tell Nexus Point News that makeup and prosthetics will be used for the film’s antagonist. In addition, actors with a strong build and stature are being looked at for the role. The makeup and prosthetic portion, heavily hints at the character being Brainiac, known for his green skin and technological enhancements. Another character, heavily speculated by fans to be the villain is Mongul, whom the casting description could be hinting at as well. Mongul is particularly known for his size and the makeup could be used to recreate his yellow skin.’

Now, the Brainiac thing I don’t think has actually been hinted at as much as people claim. Nor am I seeing enough evidence to suggest any other villains such as Mongul. Either could work fine, but until we have a leaker make a genuine claim it’s A or B, it’s all speculation.
All this really tells us is that the role is going to involve some effects, which rules out any Human looking roles. Oh, and that the casting process is beginning for this role, and that’s when we might get some names and details attached before long.
