Mando S3 COVID shutdown rumors debunked? You may have heard some rumors over the last couple of days that The Mandalorian Season 3 had a COVID situation and production was temporarily shut down. Honestly, I didn’t report it because it was just a rumor and practically every production these days has a spell like this. However the folks over at SWNN are now reporting this rumor was false. Mando S3 they say is not shut down and is currently filming as normal.
We have learned from a source that the show is still filming as planned. Rumors had been circulating in the last few days that concerns over COVID had interrupted production on the much-anticipated third season, but that is not the case right now.
As the outlet points out, Mando S3 had been on a production break for the Holidays. However they say it is now back in full swing. Does that mean there was no COVID outbreak? No idea sorry. Perhaps there was but it’s been managed and contained? Neither this, nor the initial rumors are official information so this is all just rumor for now. However I know SWNN have some access to people who would likely know whether filming had stopped or not. So I’d have to side with this outlet for now unless I hear any different.

Ultimately unless there was a massive outbreak of COVID, I can’t see this having too much effect on the long term scheduling of the show. That’s even if there was a COVID issue in the first place?
Mando S3 COVID shutdown rumors debunked? For now, I think we have to say yes, but with all rumors, keep some salt handy. Leave any thoughts you have on this story below in the usual spot.
