Mark Ruffalo Was Beeped Out Of Revealing The Avengers 4 Title – We Know What He Said Anyway

Mark Ruffalo has become a little famous for revealing things about the Marvel movies that he is not supposed to. It’s got to the stage now that both he and actor Tom Holland who plays Spider-Man are being set up by Marvel to either disseminate false information or to reveal real information at the studios choosing.

Ruffalo appeared a few days ago on the Jimmy Fallon show and whilst this was definitely played for laughs, Fallon had Ruffalo reveal the title of Avengers 4, only to have it beeped out and his mouth covered.

Want to know what he really said?

Trailer Track’s Anton Volkov decided to do some technical jiggery-pokery and pull the audio to try and work out what Ruffalo said. What he said was ‘The Last Avenger’. Check it below.

Now before you get all excited or annoyed depending on your thoughts, this was designed as a comedy skit, it is highly unlikely that Ruffalo used the real title. The Last Avenger instead seems to be a little play on The Last Jedi and doesn’t really make much sense as a title for Avengers 4.

It seems like there have been even more sources declaring that Avengers: Annihilation will indeed be the title of Avengers 4 as we reported last week. I said in the original article that I really don’t care for this title and that I am so over this title speculation. Just release a press statement already Marvel, it’s a silly game that’s gone on too long.

I only hope Annihilation was put out there to confuse fans and throw them off the scent. However, the title won’t decide what kind of movie this is, so in all honesty, they call it Avengers Go Fourth and I wouldn’t give a damn.

I’ll also quickly point out to those that are unaware and currently hoping the title of this film will be Avengers Assemble, it won’t. This was the title of the first Avengers movie in the UK due to worries of confusion with an old 60’s TV show. So that’s about the one title we can definitely rule out.

What do you think of all this title nonsense? Let us know what you think below in the usual place.
