The latest Barside Buzz from Marvel says Fantastic Four starts filming August and has Franklin Richards, plus there’s no Vision till 2026. Let’s start first with Fantastic Four and this one comes from CWGST on their subscription service. The insider claims that they’ve heard August is the start date for Fantastic Four. They’ve also heard that Franklin Richards is indeed in the movie, though no ide who has or will be cast. One could assume perhaps Franklin is still a child, but who knows?
This is not the first time we’ve heard about Franklin and even Valeria as early rumors had the kids involved. However, it is worth remembering that was before rewrites and director changes. Therefore, you cannot guarantee details will cross over. As for the August start date, I have nothing to add, we know it was filming this year, not exactly when. If the rumor is August we shall see come the close of Summer.

As for the second rumor this one comes from MTTSH, who claims Vision will be back in 2026.

Of course we know all about Vision Quest. However since that show is not really official, it could have been canned. The leaker seems to be indicating we may see this show in 2026, therefore it could be next year Vision Quest begins filming? I’m not 100% sure and I hate claims that can be taken out of context. Just say what you’re prepared to share, or don’t. Just don’t tease me.
As always, take with a pinch of salt. Though, we did already know from trades Vision Quest is coming. We also know Fantastic Four films this year and the old version of the script had Franklin. So this is hardly ‘out there’, crazy news.
