Has a new Funko Pops listing given us a clue as to some possible Eternals Villains? If not for the current Coronavirus epidemic across the World, we would be due the first teaser trailer for Eternals soon. As of now, we have no idea when we might catch a first glimpse at the Marvel movie?
If you have been deep in this film business for a while, you probably know we get a lot of news from toys. The merchandising for movies has to be planned way in advance of actual character reveals and plots. It’s therefore not uncommon for us to get new information from toy listings when they appear online. Today we share a new Funko Pops listing, which was shared on social media by Eternals News, check it out.

Now, many of those characters are those we already know. However, two of those characters have never yet been mentioned in connection with the Eternals movie. Arishem and Kro may be familiar to fans of Eternals comic books, but I had never heard of them. So what could I find online?
Better known as Arishem the Judge in the comics, the character is second in authority amongst the Celestials. Arishem judges planets influenced by the celestials to decide if they are worthy to keep living. One assumes that at some point he’s not going to be happy with Earth. You can find an image of Arishem from the comics in the header above.

As for Kro, apparently he is a Deviant, who we know are mortal enemies of the Eternals. Kro had shape-shifting powers in the comics and was a former love interest of Thena. It also seems like Kro’s love for Thena has caused him to aid the Eternals in the past.
That may be the comic book origin of these characters, but the MCU rarely follows the comics to the letter. Normally, similar situations or characters can arise, but with alternative attributes or goals in the movies. Basically, this means, while the comics give us a hint, we really don’t know what Arishem or Kro will be up to in Marvel’s Eternals? Fans online have already predicted that Arishem could have a smaller role in Eternals, with the character becoming a greater threat in future.
