Marvel Releases New Trailer For ‘Wonder Man’

Marvel Television has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming series Wonder Man, offering audiences a glimpse into the eight-episode original series set to debut exclusively on Disney+.

Created by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: Brand New Day) and Andrew Guest (Community, Hawkeye), Wonder Man stars Emmy Award winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, alongside Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley, who reprises his fan-favorite role as Trevor Slattery following his appearances in Iron Man 3, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and All Hail the King.

The series centers on Simon Williams, an aspiring Hollywood actor struggling to gain traction in an unforgiving industry. His life takes an unexpected turn after a chance encounter with Trevor Slattery, a once prominent performer whose career has long since faded from the spotlight. Together, the two actors at opposite ends of their professional journeys find themselves chasing opportunity when legendary director Von Kovak announces a remake of the superhero film Wonder Man.

As Simon and Trevor pursue what could be life changing roles, Wonder Man pulls back the curtain on the entertainment industry, blending sharp humor, character driven drama, and a meta exploration of fame, ambition, and reinvention all within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

All eight episodes of Wonder Man will premiere January 27 at 6:00 PM PT, streaming exclusively on Disney+.
