A lot to cover in this Marvel roundup including, Spider-Man: Brand New Day wraps filming, Avengers: Endgame back in cinemas and Letitia Wright confirms her return for Secret Wars. Let’s start with the news on Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Many insiders had come out late last week to indicate the movie had, or was about to wrap principal photography. Then, we had an Instagram post confirming the wrap, until it was deleted.
Destin Daniel Cretton’s assistant, Ziyi Cao, shared an image along with the caption, “Wrapping is always so emotional.” She went on to say that she made sure to “hug everyone” before they parted ways. There’s no link, because it’s now gone. Though I can assure you it really was there.
Why the post would be removed? I have no idea, if the film has wrapped it has wrapped, why make a thing of it? Though, the real news to take here is that, yes, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has wrapped filming. That gives Marvel and Sony until July 31, 2026 for post-production. We’ve already heard there are reshoots planned in 2026.
Second up, Avengers: Endgame is being released back in theatres, for those who want that cinema experience again. We’ll also add some rumor in there from insider Daniel RPK, check it out.

So, fans can go see Endgame again a couple months before Doomsday hits. As per Daniel and the little we have in rumors, it does seem like Doomsday‘s events are all a direct result of what happened in Endgame. Perhaps Marvel wants fans to refreshen their knowledge of that film? It’s probably more about maximizing the hype of Doomsday and getting a few extra bucks from an old film though.
Lastly today, we share a comment from Avengers: Doomsday star Letitia Wright. Speaking with Screen Rant recently, Wright confirmed she is returning for Secret Wars, which begins filming in 2026.
‘The Shuri star was asked about Black Panther 3, which Ryan Coogler recently confirmed is the next film he is working on. Wright stated first, “I have no clue. All I know is that we just finished Secret Wars, and that was really great.”‘
However, she quickly corrected herself,
“Doomsday, sorry. I confuse the two. I confused the two,” before going on to say, “That’s what I have to film next, Secret Wars. But Doomsday, we finished that, and that was very great.”
