A big Marvel Rumor Roundup today including Spider-Man 4 delayed till Christmas 2026, plus much much more from the world of the MCU. Most of the rumors today come from Daniel RPK on his Patreon. I’ll link to anyone else as we get to them below.
Spider-Man 4
Daniel says he’s heard Spider-Man 4 won’t shoot till August now to free up time on the schedules of both Tom Holland and Zendaya. According to Daniel he’s heard the movie will still have Multiversal elements to it as we had heard previously. Also that there is more than one villain in the film.
Meanwhile ViewerAnon is the one who says the picture will now not release till Christmas 2026 instead of July.

The question is, would that cause issues for the current slate that need to be moved around? I guess we will find out in time. It could be that Doomsday still drops May, 26′ and then Secret Wars May, 27′.
Doomsday and Secret Wars
Daniel says that Marvel are currently casting for a previously unused but well known Marvel character. This will have a secret role and they should appear in both Doomsday and Secret Wars. Additionally that Tom Holland, as we have already heard elsewhere, will have a big role in Doomsday at least.
Daniel also says he’s heard that all of the Thunderbolts* cast are back for Avengers: Doomsday. He also says Secret Wars will not be the last time we see Hugh Jackman in the Wolverine role because Marvel wants him back for a Deadpool & Wolverine 2.
Young Avengers & TV Shows
Next up Daniel backs up a rumor from ApocHorseman, which claims that Young Avengers will now be titled Champions and it will be a TV series.
RPK says, while production won’t start for a while, they’ve already begun searching for a showrunner. The reasons for the change ‘include The Marvels underperforming at the box office and the decision to remove “Young” from the title due to some of the cast members aging out of the “young” label.’

AH also had this to say on social media about the upcoming Nova series.
“I heard it revolves around a young Richard Rider and a team of Novas. With Richard being in his twenties, I’m unsure if Sam will be in it.”
Meanwhile Daniel also says he’s heard Hawkeye Season 2 will film Fall, 2025 for a possible 2026/2027 release on Disney+. Additionally he’s heard that Marvel Studios is looking for a female actress to play a mayoral candidate for a season-long arc in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Lastly back on the movie front Daniel has heard there was another test screening for Captain America: Brave New World and that as before, it did not go well. Marvel he says are now looking to make more changes between now and the release date early next year. We do know just last week the film was still doing pick ups, so maybe this is why?
