Marvel Barside Buzz including Daredevil in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Elektra in Daredevil and a first look at Avengers: Doomsday. Let’s start with Brand New Day shall we? Earlier this week a rumor began that Daredevil star Charlie Cox was actually going to be in Spider-Man: Brand New Day after all. I didn’t cover it, because the source is not a leak site, and therefore, don’t have a hit rate I can assess. That article from Nukethefridge was just the start of speculation though.

Essentially, they say though they don’t do leaks, they have credible information Charlie Cox has been cast in Brand New Day alongside Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal and the others.

Since then though, we have a cancelled appearance by Cox due to a movie he is filming. Spacecon San Antonio has announced that,

“Charlie Cox has signed on to a new movie and due to his filming schedule, he has to cancel his Spacecon appearance.”

Some fans speculated whether this was for Synthetic, a new film Cox was just announced for. However, though just announced, Cox has already finished filming that movie, as it has wrapped principal. Therefore whatever this movie is Cox is appearing in soon, its one we don’t know about. Unless of courser, we do. Pinch of salt on this one guys and Cox has denied it. Though, never trust a Marvel actor.

Oh and MTTSH says Michael Mando has arrived to film his scenes for Brand New Day also.

Now for Daredevil: Born Again and it seems Elodie Yung may be back as Elektra. The character was killed during Daredevil Season 3 when it was on Netflix. Now Daniel RPK says he’s heard she’s back for Born Again, but he’s unsure whether it’s for Season 2 or Season 3.

“I have confirmed Elektra is coming back. Not sure if it’s for season 2 or 3 [though].”

She really was killed off too quick in the Netflix series for me. Plus, it’s drama and potentially getting away from Fisk as Matt’s only enemy for a time, if The Hand are involved. My guess would be Season 3, or maybe a cameo at the tail end of Season 2 to tease what’s next.

Finally we have another claim from Daniel RPK. Daniel claims that the first look at Avengers: Doomsday will arrive alongside the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash.

The first look at ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ will reportedly be released alongside ‘AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH.’

Avatar: Fire and Ash arrives on December 19. Therefore, my guess is that if this is true, it would be just a little tease rather than a trailer or anything. Something like, ‘Next December’…. And RDJ in his Doom outfit, one small quick montage for a few seconds and done. We shall see?
