Marvel Unveils New Featurette for Upcoming MCU Film “The Marvels”

In what I think is a rather loaded statement, Disney CEO Bob Iger blames lack of executive supervisions for The Marvels box office failure

Marvel Studios has dropped a new featurette today, offering a glimpse into the forthcoming cinematic extravaganza, “The Marvels.” The featurette, entitled “Journey to The Marvels,” promises an unprecedented portrayal of the character Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers and her transformative journey as she joins forces with an unexpected ensemble of superheroes, including Captain Monica Rambeau and the youthful Ms. Marvel.

Set to hit theaters on November 10, Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels” brings to life a narrative that picks up with Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, reclaiming her identity from the clutches of the Kree regime. Seeking retribution against the formidable Supreme Intelligence, Danvers embarks on a path of vengeance, inadvertently triggering a cascade of events that places the universe on the brink of chaos.

The featurette sheds light on Carol Danvers’ journey, one that leads her through an enigmatic wormhole intertwined with a Kree revolutionary. Here, her fate intertwines with that of Kamala Khan, the spirited Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau, who now holds the title of S.A.B.E.R. astronaut captain. The trio, brought together by extraordinary circumstances, must learn to harmonize their distinct powers and backgrounds to combat the looming threat that endangers not only their world but the entire cosmos.
