The Ultimate Universe is about to hit its most critical crossroads yet, and its future may hang in the balance. This December, Marvel Comics unleashes Ultimate Endgame, a climactic five-issue crossover event that brings the entire Ultimate line together for the first time.
Written by Ultimates scribe Deniz Camp and featuring artwork from superstar artists Jonas Scharf and Terry Dodson, Ultimate Endgame promises to deliver the long-awaited payoff to the saga that began over two years ago with Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimate Invasion. At the center of the conflict is the Maker, the brilliant and twisted architect of the Ultimate Universe, who finally returns to reclaim the world he once ruled. Standing in his way are the reimagined heroes who have reshaped this reality heroes whose struggle for hope and freedom now escalates into a war that will decide the fate of the entire Ultimate Universe.
Marvel is treating this event as more than just another crossover. December also brings Ultimate Universe: Two Years In #1, a one-shot filled with revelations that will directly shape the outcome of Ultimate Endgame. Fans will also see the conclusion of Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto’s acclaimed run on Ultimate Spider-Man, alongside pivotal issues of Ultimates, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate Wolverine, and Ultimate X-Men, all serving as lead-ins to the grand finale.
In a bold move for collectors, Marvel will debut its first-ever True Believers Blind Bags with Ultimate Endgame #1. Each sealed bag will contain one of the issue’s many covers, including variants exclusive to the program. Some bags will even hold secret covers that won’t be revealed until a lucky fan discovers them, giving comic shops an exciting way to engage readers and fueling the hunt for these limited collectibles.

The Ultimate line has quickly become one of Marvel’s most talked-about initiatives, winning over longtime fans and new readers alike with bold reinventions of iconic characters.
