It seems Marvel’s yet to be officially announced Vision Quest series is set to begin filming in my part of the world, Scotland. Here is what a local resident had to say on social media,

‘Filming is due to start in our village tomorrow. Sources say it’s Marvel’s Vision series with the working title, “Tin Man”, starring Paul Bettany. The pub’s name has changed to The Old Selkie and a flag of Scotland is flying.’

Of course whilst Marvel has never announced this show, we have had Marvel executives mentions it as in development. So we knew it really was quite advanced. Well, looks like filming will begin this week, if it hasn’t already begun.

How much of the show will shoot at this location we have no idea. All we really have on Vision Quest is some reports that James Spader is back as Ultron, in some fashion. We don’t even know if the show is still called Vision Quest to be honest. Rumors were that Vision’s kids (comic book) would show up, but those were older rumors pre-strikes.

Marvel are doing a better job of keeping TV plots under wraps these days than they are the movies. Perhaps that’s a demand and supply situation mind you. However, we also have heard next to nothing about Wonder Man, other than some cast and that’s in post.

For now I’ll keep referring to it as Vision Quest until we get a confirmed title. Still, watch out for ‘Tin Man’ filming in your area and give us a shout if you spot anything, or bang it onto social media yourself.
