MARZ VFX Gives A Behind The Scenes Look To Creating ‘Watchmen’ Looking Glass

Detective Wade Tillman aka Looking Glass was one of the most interesting characters from HBO series Watchmen last year. As part of the Tulsa Police Department Wade had a unique ability of being able to tell if someone is lying. What made him stand out the most was his reflective head piece that he would wear while serving on the force.  Similar to Rorshach’s mask the reflective from Looking Glass’s would shift its texture while he would talk. From watching the show I wondered how Tim Blake Nelson was able to wear that mask while filming. The crew at MARZ has now answered that question by making a behind the scenes look into the virtual effects into making the Looking Glass’s mask realistic.  You can check out the video below:
