The secret is out. The McDonald’s McRib is back.

Not only is the McRib back during the holiday season but McDonald’s launched a coast-to-coast McRib Caroloke bus tour in Los Angeles and New York to spread the cheers and celebrations for America’s favorite sandwich.

The double-decker bus featured a caroling choir and a karaoke display with public sing-alongs. There are exclusive appearances with international pop star Ylona Garcia and social media star Tiffany Day at various locations.

The choir performed altered Christmas classics, including “Deck the Buns,” “O McRib Sauce,” and “We Wish You a Tasty McRib.” A karaoke LED display on the side of the bus showed the words for the audience to sing along.

The tour bus made stops in Los Angeles, including Pasadena, Little Tokyo, Chinatown, and Koreantown, and in Orange County, Garden Grove, Belmont Center, and Torrance. The traveling event also took place at various locations in New York City.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta attended the special caroling event in Pasadena to witness and sing along with the choir at the Rose Bowl. Hundreds of attendees saw the event as the carolers put out their charms. There was also free swag given away to local attendees of the event.

Also, Patta interviewed Filipina singer-songwriter Ylona Garcia about her experiences with the Caroloke and McDonald’s senior manager of brand partnership Rosa Cubas about the event.

Ylona Garcia is a Filipina singer-songwriter from Australia who established herself with the gaming collective 100 Thieves and the record label 88Rising. A fun fact: she was a former McDonald’s employee.

The McRib sandwich will be available nationwide for the rest of this year.
