MCU: Kevin Feige Addresses Donnie Yen And Millie Bobby Brown Rumors

It’s kind of an exciting time to be a Marvel fan right now. Of course, we just had Avengers: Endgame explode at the theaters this past April and in just over a week, we’ll be getting Spider-Man: Far From Home, which will further the Peter Parker story following the death of Tony Stark. And yet, in spite of all that, the world beyond that is kind of a big blank slate. Sure, we know of some movies in development, but actual details elude us.

Marvel Studios has been coy about their upcoming projects, and that includes movies that feature brand-new characters. Recently, two actors have been rumored for sizable roles — with Donnie Yen in Shang-Chi and Millie Bobby Brown in The Eternals. When asked about the validity of these rumors, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige dodged the question.

“Both good actors that would be fun to see in the MCU,” Feige said. “But nothing specific, or nothing to talk about. We’re still, as I’ve said for the better part of a year or two, we’re waiting for Endgame and Far From Home to come out before we talk about what’s next, officially. We’re almost there.”

He’s not kidding. he’s said for months that this summer is when we can expect news going forward. We also know that Marvel will have a presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, so it’s always possible we hear more about the slate there. Perhaps more likely, however, is this year’s D23, which Disney likes to use for a lot of their big properties.

Either way, I doubt we have much longer to wait. Almost there!
