Here is part 2 of our MCU rumors today, this time we hear Sam Raimi is wanted for Doctor Strange 3, but he’s also in contention for The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, plus more rumors. All of the rumors we cover here come from Daniel RPK‘s Patreon service FYI. Lately RPK has been knocking it out the park, so perhaps he has new sources?
Let’s start with Sam Raimi who last directed a Marvel movie in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. According to the insider Marvel would like Raimi to direct Doctor Strange 3. However, RPK also points out that Raimi is one of the directors currently in consideration for both The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Previously we had heard Raimi linked with Secret Wars and DS3, but never The Kang Dynasty. That’s probably because we had a director for The Kang Dynasty in Destin Daniel Cretton. That is no longer the case.
RPK also says that Marvel is interested in Jac Schaeffer as writer/director of a Wanda solo movie. Schaeffer previously was head writer of WandaVision and also had some input into the story of Black Widow.
Next up RPK says that Wonder Man and Vision Quest are both limited series. That means only 1 season planned, like WandaVision. Sticking with Disney+ shows the insider also corrected some claims made on what he said. RPK says that it’s not definite that Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, nor Moon Knight will get a Season 2. They are being discussed internally, but decisions have not yet been made. Another series in the works is Wiccan which he says will lead directly into a Wanda solo movie.

Another claim made stating RPK as a source was debunked by the insider. The claim was that he said the MCU and SSMU would merge at some point going forward. Daniel says this is not what he said at all.
One thing he did claim was that Pedro Pascal has now signed a deal that sees him play Reed Richards in Fantastic Four. If you both RPK and MTTSH beat the trades to this news when it broke. RPK is now I think the first to say Pascal has signed on 100%.
Anther claim is that outside of The Witches Road which has already been filmed, Marvel are not moving forward with anymore one-off Special Presentations. The Witches Road will be released but they are discussing how they will do this ‘differently’.
Finally RPK says that Spider-Man 4, Shang-Chi 2, Fantastic Four and Deadpool 3 will all be movies that set the stage for what comes in Avengers: Secret Wars.
