After the news that Sacha Baron Cohen could be playing Mephisto for Marvel, we now have a Mephisto Halloween Special rumored to be on the way. That’s according to insider MTTSH, check it out.

As you can see there are no other details shared. However it is worth noting that MTTSH has a very good hit rate for Marvel leaks. Given all the rumors around Sacha Baron Cohen, with even Deadline reporting it, it seems unlikely Baron Cohen is not playing Mephisto. If that is the case, then a Halloween Special for next year sounds very plausible.
As you likely know, most of the insiders have recently been telling us to watch out for more of these Special Presentations like Werewolf by Night. There’s a rumor we could even get a trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special soon. However we’ve also been hearing that these are not restricted to holiday seasons and instead may become a more regular way to introduce aspects of certain characters.
Sacha Baron Cohen is rumored to make his MCU debut within Ironheart. Therefore having a one off special about the character in the Halloween after Ironheart airs seems like a good decision.

I must admit that outside of the WandaVision guesswork, I’m not too familiar with the Mephisto character. I must have never come across him in the comic books. Of course I know he’s Marvel’s version of Satan.
I’m far more interested in the Silver Surfer rumor we posted yesterday. However I’ll quite happily give any Marvel show, special, or movie a chance.
