Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler Unveil New Supernatural Horror Film, Sinners

The trailer for Sinners—the latest gothic supernatural thriller from Creed and Black Panther duo Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler—is something very different from what we have seen from this duo before. The teaser offers a tantalizing glimpse into what’s shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated films of 2025, leaving viewers with more questions than answers and a thirst for the dark tale that’s set to unfold.

Slated for a theatrical release on March 7, Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers returning to their troubled hometown in search of a fresh start. But as the eerie tagline suggests, “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home,” a far greater evil awaits their return.

The film boasts a star-studded cast, with Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit) joining the ranks alongside Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies), and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods). With an ensemble like this, fans can expect riveting performances that push the boundaries of fear.

Directed and written by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ryan Coogler, Sinners is poised to be more than just a typical horror film. With a creative team that includes longtime Coogler collaborators—such as Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, production designer Hannah Beachler, and costume designer Ruth E. Carter—the film promises a visually stunning and sonically immersive experience. The film’s cinematography is led by Autumn Durald Arkapaw (Black Panther franchise), ensuring a hauntingly beautiful aesthetic.

Produced by Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler under the Proximity Media banner, Sinners represents a fresh take on supernatural horror-action. The collaboration between Jordan and Coogler has already led to box-office hits with Creed and Black Panther, and Sinners is expected to build on that legacy, bringing a new vision of fear to audiences around the world.

Sinners will hit theaters nationwide on March 7, 2025, with an international release shortly after.
