It’s hard to believe that we are already halfway through Marvel Studio’s Loki. Then again it’s only a six-episode season. Loki really distinguishes itself from being very different from the previous series and even the films. Ahead of tomorrow’s episode, here is a mid-season trailer provided by the wonderful folks at Disney. Check it out below!
While it contains a lot of scenes that we have already seen in the series. The Loki trailer does inform us that they are able to get off of Lamentis-1. Also that they, unfortunately, end up in the hands of the Time Variance Authority. Thankfully we also see that Owen Wilson’s Mobius is back, who was missed in the third episode.
Here is the synopsis for the Loki just in case:
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.

The first two episodes of the series got me hooked. But the third episode flipped the script and really took me out of the flow of the series. I am eager to see what happens next and if the series is able to get back on track. I do worry a bit about how much more story they have to fit into three episodes as they spent that entire episode on Lamentis-1. While Marvel Studios’ track record has been pretty good, I have not been impressed with their endings for the television series.
