Mission: Impossible – Fallout Wraps Filming

It’s never easy making a movie. There are countless potential problems, and the amount of logistics required to pull off a single shot is mind-boggling. Mission: Impossible – Fallout had a particularly difficult road to the big screen.

Last year, its star, Tom Cruise broke his ankle performing a stunt that luckily made it into the trailer, and as such, production was delayed. Production recently picked back up for the action-spy thriller, and now director Christopher McQuarrie has confirmed that Mission: Impossible – Fallout is officially in the can.

Such is the stressful life of a filmmaker. But those are the breaks when creating neck-breaking action on screen.

Below is the official synopsis for Mission: Impossible – Fallout:

“The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.”

With the movie officially in the can, now begins the arduous process of post-production. With its release set for July 27, 2018, there’s not a lot of time until the film hits!
