According to the latest Barside Buzz, Moon Knight Season 2 will feature another Kang variant. The report comes from TCC on their latest podcast. In that podcast they say they’ve heard Moon Knight Season 2 is in development and will feature a Kang variant as the main antagonist. For now the outlet hasn’t heard which Kang variant should be showing up. However, there is one who would fit the bill perfectly and that’s Rama-Tut. Now, if you have already seen Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and watched the post-credit scene, then you’ve already seen Rama-Tut alongside both Immortus and the Scarlet Centurion.

For now of course this is just a rumor and Moon Knight Season 2 does not even have a shoot date that I’ve heard. However it would make a hell of a lot of sense for Moon Knight Season 2 to link to Kang in this way. For a start there are rumors Moon Knight appears in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Ergo, it makes sense for MK to have a relationship with Kang already. Then we add in the Egyptian God angle and you can see why Rama-Tut is being mentioned. Though, just to be clear, the name Rama-Tut was only mentioned speculatively by the outlet. All they heard was a Kang variant would be the antagonist for now.

Therefore, despite this seeming like a great idea with no holes, it really is a little early to absolutely sure of this rumor. In fact, at this point I may be slightly disappointed if Rama-Tut isn’t the villain of Season 2 because it makes so much sense.

However, right now it’s not even official that Moon Knight Season 2 is happening. Those involved with Season 1 teased the possibility of Season 2, but that’s all. Also, add in Moon Knight was one of the most critically lauded Disney+ series so far and it would be daft to not bring back Oscar Isaac as his many personalities that make up Moon Knight. Plus, as said above there are rumors that Isaac is in The Kang Dynasty as one of the new Avengers. So far MK has no relationship with any other Marvel hero. However, that likely would not matter if he does already have conflict with one of the variants of Kang.
