The art of making moonshine has been a dying activity since the end of the prohibition. For some people, it is still a traditional hobby to make their alcohol.
In the narrative drama Moonwater, two estranged brothers will bond together over making moonshine in this emotional tale.
The film stars Michael Lee Joplin (Stalker, For All Mankind) and Matthew Wayne Roberts (Tearsucker, General Hospital) as the brothers mending their relationship. William Tyler Wiseman directed and wrote the film.
Here is the logline:
A reclusive alcoholic discovers his late father’s old dilapidated moonshine still deep in the woods and sets out to revive it for one final batch, reconnecting with his brother and his father’s legacy in the process.
