The pandemic of 2000 inspired plenty of stories that served as inspiration for films as everyone was under lockdown. Raya Miles and Paul Bickel picked up their camera for some guerilla filmmaking with the horror film Our Happy Place in their cabin at Big Bear, Calif., as they were under stay-in-place orders.
As a result, Our Happy Place became a terrifying cabin in the woods film.
The film stars Miles, Bickel, Tracie Thoms, and Eugene Byrd.
Here is the official synopsis:
Raya wakes in the forest, cold and confused, with no memory of how she got there. Each day, it happens again. As hauntings intensify, Raya must confront a horrifying truth that shatters everything she had believed.
