We’ve been getting more and more Agatha: Coven of Chaos casting news over the last week or so. Now there are some new names to add to the growing cast of Agatha. Two more actors have joined the cast of Agatha, those being Ali Ahn & Maria Dizzia. The news comes from Deadline, so you know it’s legit. Here is what the trade had to say.

Ali Ahn (Raising Dion) and Maria Dizzia (The Staircase) have been added to the cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Marvel’s upcoming WandaVision spinoff series for Disney+.

They join lead Kathryn Hahn, who is reprising her role as WandaVision bad gal Agatha, male lead Joe Locke as well as Aubrey Plaza, who is believed to be playing a villainous role. Details about Ahn and Dizzia’s characters are being kept under wraps. A rep for Marvel declined comment.

We also know straight from the her own comments that Emma Caulfield will return as Dottie in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Caulfield played Dottie in WandaVision, which of course Agatha is a spin-off from. Currently there appear to be no plans to have Liz Olsen make any kind of appearance as Wanda. Given Wanda is currently ‘Status Unknown’ in terms of whether she is dead or alive (of course she’s alive), it makes sense that she would make a triumphant return when least expected/most needed. In other words, I’m not sure she’s going to drop in to see how Agatha is getting on and then head back off again. However, that’s my own thoughts. Therefore, if we get a report next week that Olsen is in the show, I will just hold my hands up. After all, what do I know?

For now, it’s hard to say exactly what Agatha will be about? Last we left Agatha she was defeated by Wanda after trying to steal her Scarlet Witch powers. Wanda left Agatha in a trance like state, and then went off to do even worse crimes than those she left behind in Westview. Maybe Wanda’s disappearance is a key jump off point for the show? There are also rumors that Marvel wants Dahmer – Monster star Evan Peters to reprise his role as Ralph Bohner. However there is nothing solid to suggest Peters return from any trades as yet. I probably echo most fans when I say I’d like to see the ‘real’ story behind Ralph Bohner as the way things were left in WandaVision was fairly unsatisfying, to say the least.
