Some depressing news as actor Morgan Freeman now finds himself being accused of inappropriate sexual behavior, according to an article from CNN. The article focuses on a production assistant who worked on the 2017 film Going in Style, in which Freeman starred. The production assistant recalls one incident where she alleges Freeman “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear. Alan made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say.”

Not long after the article was published, Freeman issued an apology.
“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”
Another woman who was a senior production staffer has said that Morgan exhibited the same kind of behavior on the set of the film Now You See Me.
“We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms — meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted,” she said.
So far, eight women have accused Freeman of inappropriate behavior, 16 people total speaking with CNN.
