Multiverse Of Madness Villain Named On Merch And It’s Not What We Thought SPOILERS

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness villain named finally on some tie in merch. However despite all the descriptions being very accurate to what we’ve heard before or seen, it also seems like the name everyone had is wrong. A new LEGO set which you can see in this link Here, shows a one eyed tentacled monster, which looks very much like Shuma Gorath, the rumored villain of the Doctor Strange sequel.

However on that listing the villain is named Gargantos instead. Whilst similar looking these villains were very different and it seems Marvel Studios has merged them for the movie. In the LEGO set Gargantos is chasing America Chavez, we guess through the Multiverse given Chavez powers and previous rumors.

You’ll remember we covered a previous image of this creature in the related link below. At this time I named it Shuma Gorath, because that’s both who it looked like and it matched all the rumors.

However this is also not the first time I have heard the name Gargantos rumored either. I wondered at that time whether both villains were present or they were simply confused given the similarities of both? It’s starting to look like that was the case and Gargantos is the villain’s name in the MCU. Despite having some abilities and characteristics one would associate with Shuma Gorath, namely the Multiverse dimension hopping monster.

Could Gargantos instead just be one villain of Multiverse of Madness, because the true antagonist is actually Wanda as has been rumored? I guess we will find out eventually. What do you think now that we have the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness villain named as Gargantos? Sound off below as always.
