In My Happy Ending, a famous actress felt the need to hide her cancer treatment in a hospital and soon realizes her new life with the help of others in the treatment program.

Andie MacDowell (Groundhog Day, Four Weddings and a Funeral) stars as Julie, the megastar going through the treatment program. The rest of the cast includes Miriam Margolyes (The Age of Innocence, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2), Sally Phillips (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason), Rakhee Thakrar (Sex Education, Four Weddings and a Funeral), Tom Cullen (Weekend, Castle in the Ground), Michelle Greenidge (It’s a Sin, Small Axe), Tamsin Greig (Green Wing, Shaun of the Dead), and David Walliams (Little Britain, Run Fatboy Run). Tal Granit and Sharon Maymon directed the film from the screenplay written by Rona Tamir. The film is based on the play “Happy End” by Anat Gov.

Here is the official synopsis:

Andie MacDowell stars as a famous actor who goes incognito to seek treatment for a medical issue. While at the hospital, she meets three unique and remarkable women—an aging rocker, a young mother, and a forever single retired schoolteacher. Together, they help her face adversity with humor and camaraderie while coaching her for the most challenging role she has ever played…..herself.
