Every teenager would appreciate to get advice from their future selves. Growing older would be a lot easier as one teen meets her future self in the coming-of-age story in My Old Ass.

The film stars Maisy Stella (Nashville), Percy Hynes White (Cast No Shadow, The Gifted), Maddie Ziegler (Music, The Fallout), Kerrice Brooks (The Prom, Star Trek: Stafleet Academy), and Aubrey Plaza (Safety Not Guaranteed, Emily the Criminal). Megan Park directed and wrote the movie.

Here is the official synopsis:

In this fresh coming-of-age story, an 18^th birthday mushroom trip brings free-spirited Elliott (Maisy Stella) face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza). But when Elliott’s “old ass” starts handing out warnings about what her younger self should and shouldn’t do, Elliott realizes she has to rethink everything about family, love, and what’s becoming a transformative summer.

My Old Ass is in select theaters on Friday, September 13, and then expanded nationwide on Friday, September 27.
