MYSTERY SOLVED! What Happened To Hulk And The Quinjet After ‘AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON’?

Towards the end of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, we saw Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk bid adieu to Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow- and, by extension, his Avengers teammates- and fly off in a Quinjet. Fast forward to the revelation that Hulk was going to appear in THOR: RAGNAROK, which is set in the cosmos, and that created a central question:

What Happened To Hulk And The Quinjet In The Period Between AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON And THOR: RAGNAROK? And, How The Heck Did He End Up In Space?

Well, some new set photos reveal an old bit of speculation. A theory floated around that Bruce Banner (Ruffalo) used the Quinjet to actually fly into space, where he eventually ends up in a “Planet Hulk”-like setting. The photo below reveals that the jet will appear in the film, and likely answers the question of how Hulk got off of the earth:

That’s an aerial shot from the Australia set of THOR: RAGNAROK. There are also a bunch of photos of sets that have been constructed to depict Asgard, which is also- apparently- going to be home to a full on Hulk out:

In that last photo, that’s Ruffalo lying down on the tile platform at the top of the steps, and a few feet away you can see the bust of Hulk’s big green head.

So these photos seem to confirm Hulk’s method of travel, and the fact that he’s going to appear in both Bruce and Jade Giant form on Asgard in THOR: RAGNAROK.
