Natalie Morales Makes Her Directorial Debut In The Hulu Original Film Plan B

Plan B

Oh the magic of those first years of sexual exploration for the teenage body. Between the hormones and the pressures of peers at school, sometimes mistakes can happen. Mistakes that could include sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy. Then comes the anxiety of trying to fix the problem without alarming the adults. While some of us may have cringy experiences that are funny now, in the moment it feels like the world is going to end. Hulu will be releasing  an original film to remind us about some of those teenage  anxieties.

The film is called Plan B. It features the directorial debut of Natalie Morales. You can check out the trailer down below!

Here is the synopsis for Hulu’s Plan B:

After a regrettable first sexual encounter, a straight-laced high school student (Kuhoo Verma) and her slacker best friend (Victoria Moroles) have 24 hours to hunt down a Plan B pill in America’s heartland.

Plan B is written by Prathi Srinivasan and Joshua Levy. It comes from the producers of the hit film, Harold and Kumar and the series Cobra Kai, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg along with Josh Heald, Dina Hillier also of Counterbalance Entertainment. Also produced by Big Adolescence’s Ryan Bennett, Jeremy Garelick, and Will Phelps of American High and Matt Lottman.

Looks like it could be a fun film to like I said in the beginning, take us back to our teenage days. I look forward to seeing Morales’ vision for the film. The name should sound familiar as she has been featured in Parks and Recreation, Abby’s, and Battle of the Sexes to name a few. Now lets see how she does behind the camera!
