Hundreds of thousands of people go missing in America each year. Every single missing person has a story. In Nkechi Okoro Carroll’s new drama series Found, the heroes looking for missing persons even have their own stories and secrets that will captivate audiences.
The NBC drama series already debuted last month with significant viewership.
The series is led by Shanola Hampton, who plays Gabi Mosely, the head of a crisis agency that helps solve missing persons cases that the authorities often ignore. The rest of the cast includes Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, Karan Oberoi, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as the mysterious captive named Sir.
Here is the official logline of the series:
In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the United States. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about. A public relations specialist—who was once herself one of those forgotten ones—and her crisis management team now make sure there is always someone looking out for the forgotten missing people. But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a chilling secret of her own.
