Last week, I covered the trailer for Netflix’s Midnight Mass series and now, Netflix is bringing us a horror movie for our Halloween season. We’re off to a great spooky season! There’s Someone Inside Your House Official Trailer is out now and it looks exciting.
What There’s Someone Inside Your House Is About
Based off a book with the same name, Makani Young and the rest of the high school seniors are being targeted by a killer. The killer wears 3D printed masks of the victims’ faces and is out to expose their secrets to everyone.
I’ve never lived in a small town so I don’t know how many juicy secrets can be squeezed from a small town’s senior class, but damn! They are dropping like flies! The movie definitely feels like so many other teen horror movies and I don’t mean that in a bad way. There is, of course, some new elements like the killer wearing 3D printed faces of those they are about to kill. I guess the killer really wanted to go for the “face yourself and your demons” approach to killing. I’m looking forward to watching it, but I first thought this would be a series. Novels have so much in their pages and I hope one hour and 36 minutes will be enough time to do the story justice.

The book, written by Stephanie Perkins, was released September 2017 and was a New York Times bestseller. Netflix’s There’s Someone Inside Your House will be released on October 6. The film stars Sydney Park, Asjha Cooper, and Théodore Pellerin. Also starring is Diego Josef, Dale Whibley, and Jesse LaTourette. The film is directed by Patrick Brice and produced by Shawn Levy and James Wan.
