Set Decoration At Cleveleys (Andor)

Andor is setting up for a weekend shoot in Cleveleys, England. It seems they will be using a seaside café and having it stand in for a location on another world. The photos show the set being dressed up to look a little more otherworldly, but not a great deal has been altered. Apparently they are also installing palm tress to give this location a more tropical feel. The beach is completely closed for the weekend, so it’s unlikely anyone will get close enough to see what is going on. Though from the looks of things, there are plenty of distant vantage points, so I’m sure a ton of paps will be driving to Cleveleys tonight.

There is some alien writing on the set, however Star Wars fans in that Reddit thread have already determined it’s not Aurebesh. Sadly therefore, it cannot be translated. However, it probably just says Fish and Chips in a pretend language. The dark twist is that the fish are actually Mon Calamari! Eek.
Of course we have zero idea of what this set is being used for. Truthfully there is almost zero buzz about what Andor will actually cover. Everyone thinks they know where Andor is going and to be honest I would not argue with the obvious predictions. However how does this all fit together? What brings Cassian into the Rebellion, and what was life life for those living under Imperial rule. That’s what I am hoping to get out of this show, as opposed to what I’d be looking for in say Mandalorian Season 3, or Obi-Wan Kenobi. Maybe that’s just me though.
