Barbie is ready for us to join her in Barbie Land where everything is perfect, except for Ken. In the latest trailer released by Warner Bros., we get a deeper look at the upcoming Barbie movie. The iconic Mattel fashion doll debuted in 1959 at the American International Toy Fair in New York. Check out the new teaser trailer and official poster below!
While Barbie’s teaser trailer was a quick introduction to Margot Robbie as the classic version of Barbie wearing the famous black and white swimsuit. This trailer takes us into Barbie Land where we get to meet all the different versions of Barbie and Ken.
It is still a mystery what the actual plot of the movie is we get a better look inside Barbie’s world and all the classic playsets that will be in the movie. From the different playsets to accessories, Barbie fans will enjoy picking out all the little easter eggs in the movie.
While the main character is Barbie this trailer seems to focus more on her counterpart Ken. With Ryan Gosling starring as the main Ken, all the other different forms of Ken appear briefly in the trailer. It seems that the Ken’s don’t get along as nicely as the Barbies do, with the Ken’s challenging each other to “beaching” each other off.

It will be interesting to see how this film does for general audiences. Will it be attractive to both a young audience as well as older folks? With its semi-adult-rated humor, this could be a film for all audiences to enjoy.
Barbie is being directed by Greta Gerwig. The producers of the film are David Heyman, Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Robbie Brenner. It was written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.
Warner Bros. Pictures Barbie will be only in theaters this summer premiering on July 21.
