New Black Panther Trailer Hits! Tickets Available Now!

Disney has quite the slate of movies coming out this year, including A Wrinkle in TimeIncredibles 2, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. But, before all that arrives one of the most intriguing Disney releases of all, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther.

Black Panther continues to look like one of the most original, and hip (do kids still say that?), Marvel releases yet, featuring a nearly all-black cast including the incredibly talented Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Sterling K. Brown, among others. The film is directed by Ryan Cooglar, the award-winning director behind Creed and Fruitvale Station.

T’Challa / Black Panther (Boseman) made his Marvel Cinematic Universe premiere in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Joining him in his solo film are two other established MCU characters, Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) from Civil War and Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) back after Ultron removed his arm in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

After the death of his father in Civil War, T’Challa returns to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda, to succeed the throne and take his rightful place as king. But, he will face powerful foes along the way, including Kalue, outfitted with a new “rocket hand,” and the jealous Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordon) who seeks the throne and power Wakanda holds for himself.
