New Black Widow Trailer Recaps Natasha As We Knew Her

Black Widow review

Recently Black Widow was once again moved to what will hopefully be the final release date. Being that theaters are opening up and people are getting vaccinated at a quick pace, it would seem like this is finally going to be it. Regardless, Disney has chosen to double down and not only release it theaters but also on Disney+ with Premiere Access. The new date is July 9th, 2021.

This morning we received a new trailer for the film. You can check it out below!

As you can see this trailer delivers the feels for Marvel fans! It does a good job at reminding us all that Scarlett Johansson did as Natasha Romanoff during her run with Marvel Studios. All leading up to that heart-wrenching sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame. It also showcases what kind of relationship she had and returns to with her family. I thought it was very well done. Sometimes it’s not all about the action sequences but who these characters are in the bigger picture.

Here is the synopsis for Marvel Studios’ Black Widow provided by Disney:

Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. “Black Widow”—the first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige.
