Every time I go to write about the upcoming film Cruella, from Disney Pictures, I can’t help but hum that classic Disney villain song from the original animated film.  Next month we will finally have the opportunity to see how this infamous Disney villain came to be. With that thought in mind, we present to you the second trailer for Cruella as well as a new poster.

In the second trailer for the film, we see a little more of the backstory of why Emma Stone’s Estella, finally lost her marbles. It would seem that it has a lot to do with Emma Thompson’s Baroness character. You can check out the trailer down below!

I am very excited to see Stone and Thompson go head to head on the big screen. It would seem that both are ready to portray big and bold egos that are going to have us seeing black and white spots. I love the setting of a 1970’s London for the film. The new poster shows us a full-on Cruella in the black and white we are accustomed to seeing. You can see it below!

Here is the synopsis for Disney Pictures’ Cruella:

Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s “Cruella,” an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious – and notoriously fashionable – villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. “Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets.

One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.
