It’s always the battle of good versus evil in the Harry Potter Universe. With its prequel movies, Newt Scamander recruits a ragtag team of wizards and witches to battle the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

In this third installment of the prequel series, Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sodol and Dan Fogler reprise their roles from the previous films. Mads Mikkelsen is the new face of Grindelwald. David Yates is back at the helm based on the screenplay written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves.

Here is the official synopsis:

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches, and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?

Harry Potter fans shouldn’t be disappointed with another installment coming up. It’ll be interesting to watch the secrets Dumbledore may be hiding that probably twists our perception of this wizard. So many secrets, indeed!
