Fashion has become a staple in the Geek World with new companies like Her Universe, Stance socks, and Zenni eyewear tackling head on the challenge of Geek Couture. Well, you can add new fashion line Heroes & Villains to that list of bringing Geek Couture to mainstream fashion. Making there debut this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con with not just a generic Star Wars theme but specific to the Battle of Endor with 26 pieces on display.
Talking with Heroes & Villains executive, Doug Johnson he said that the plan was to generate a line of Star Wars apparel that fans can really appreciate and make it fashionable for everyone.
“Our collection embodies bold, daring designs that redefine personal expression. The Battle of Endor is a fan favorite and allowed us to create a range of functional clothing and accessories we hope all Star Wars fans will appreciate,”
Each piece of apparel is inspired by a specific element or costume from the Battle of Endor. Even the camouflage that appears on some of the pieces are the same colors and patterns from the costumes used from the movie. Looking at all of the pieces up close on display you can tell where the inspiration came from in the movie. Whether its the Scout Trooper Backpack that has a Speeder Bike feel to it, or the Commando Roll Top Backpack that looks and feels like a older military rucksack.
The most impressive aspect of this new line is the quality of the product to the choice of fabric and stitching you can tell the products are made to last. Another amazing aspect of this fashion line is the price with most products ranging from the $50-$100 price point which is not overly expensive for the quality of product.
If you are at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend make sure to stop by Heroes & Villains booth located in the Lucasfilm display area. To check out or order any of the products go to the Heroes & Villains website.
