This will not be Batman’s first foray into anime. In 2008, Batman: Gotham Knight was released on home video as a collection of short anime films done in different styles by different directors, similar to the Animatrix.
Also in 2018, Warner Bros. Animation has a Teen Titans Go! movie set for the summer. Expect more details about Batman Ninja after October 5th’s panel at NYCC, as this is the first we’re hearing about it and details are scarce.
