New Feature Length Anime Film Batman Ninja Coming In 2018

Warner Bros. is working on a new, feature-length anime movie titled Batman Ninja. Movie Web broke the news after it was announced that Batman Ninja will be showcased at New York Comic Con on October 5th.

Coming from Warner Bros. Japan, Batman Ninja will be a full-length feature anime film featuring the Dark Knight. The official description for the panel featuring Batman Ninja says the film will be released in 2018. It will be directed by Jumpei Mizusaki, with character designs by Takashi Okazaki, and a screenplay by Kazuki Nakashima. The English-language writers are Leo Chu & Eric Garcia.

This will not be Batman’s first foray into anime. In 2008, Batman: Gotham Knight was released on home video as a collection of short anime films done in different styles by different directors, similar to the Animatrix.

Also in 2018, Warner Bros. Animation has a Teen Titans Go! movie set for the summer. Expect more details about Batman Ninja after October 5th’s panel at NYCC, as this is the first we’re hearing about it and details are scarce.
