A newly released Guardians 3 TV spot called The Final Tour has been dropped and it revolves around one joke. There are some montage moments interspersed between, however the running joke where your attention goes. Check it out below.

I would normally only cover TV spots that have a lot of differences from the main trailer, Ergo, this one does and is being shared. I personally like this little exchange, it fits my kind of humor. That’s hardly surprising considering I’ve really enjoyed every Gunn movies and TV series since the first Guardians. As for the argument it self, Drax is right. Unless he was making room for someone else why shouldn’t he lie down on a couch. I do it all the time.

The rest of the spot as said was just some quick montage type shots and nothing stood out to me specifically. I was already seeing this opening weekend (if possible), so I didn’t need to be sold.

I expect Guardians 3 to do better at the box office than most recent Marvel movies. I have a feeling that word of mouth will help this one, plus trailers that look fun. The industry seems to be flipping between those saying Guardians 3 is projected to have a $100M opening weekend and those saying it will fall short. Then we have one leaker saying Marvel are worried it will bomb, but that guy be lyin a lot recently. If you enjoyed Guardians and its sequel I think you go see Guardians 3. If the reviews are good and word of mouth is strong, the movie wont’t drop as much as recent Marvel releases.

Bad word of mouth would do the opposite, but I’m hedging my bets on Gunn coming through again.

What do you think of the new Guardians 3 TV spot. Do you like the fact it revolves around one joke, or would you rather have seen this scene in theatres? Thoughts below as always.
