Some big casting news broke over the past 24 hours around Blade and Deadpool 3. Deadpool 3 see’s the return of fan favorites and Blade casts what’s rumored to be a big role. We’ll start with the Blade news. Deadline reports that Mia Goth will join the upcoming Blade movie in an undisclosed role.
After spending the past year terrifying audiences and wowing critics, Pearl and X star Mia Goth looks ready to take her talents to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as sources tell Deadline she is set to join Mahershala Ali in Marvel Studios’ Blade.
However, the Barside Buzz has been rumbling since this news broke. A few leakers are coming out to say that Goth’s role will be that of Lilith Drake. One such leaker I have included below. However, by no means was MTTSH the only one making this claim.

In the Marvel comics, Lilith Drake was the daughter of Dracula and an enemy of Blade. It could be the story is looking to set Lilith up as the big bad rather than using the name Dracula? Equally, there is room for Lilith to be more of an enemy come reluctant ally, in time. It really just depends how the character is written for the MCU. Therefore, until we see the movie or get some character details, we are none the wiser.
Deadpool 3
As for Deadpool 3, it’s all about the returning cast from previous movies. Deadline, again, reports that Morena Baccarin And Stefan Kapicic will reprise their roles as Vanessa and Colossus respectively. As you can see from the quote below, Ryan Reynolds also revealed recently that Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams would return.
Ryan Reynolds is looking to get the gang back together again for Marvel new Deadpool sequel as Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic are set to reprise their roles as Vanessa and Colossus, respectively. Reynolds recently announced Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams would return as Dopinder and Blind Al, who like Vanessa and Colossus appeared in the first two films.
That will please Deadpool fans I’m sure. However, some of you may already know, I’m not a Deadpool fan as such. Therefore, I’ll wait and see what the MCU version is like, maybe I’ll change my mind?
