Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. is set to announce a new anime series on the favorite giant mechs, currently titled Gundam Rogue Orbit.

The details of the new series will be unveiled at the “Gundam Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam” at San Diego Comic-Con International 2026.

Special guests from Japan are on hand to reveal what’s next for Gundam on Thursday, July 23, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Room 6BCF at the San Diego Convention Center.

There will be a novelty bag given away at this panel to include a “Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe” mini-poster, a t-shirt, Gundam card game Gundam Rogue Orbit promotional car (EXBP-029 EX Base), an inflatable beam saber, 144 RX-78-2 Gundam workshop kit Ver., a Gunpla shopping bag, a Gundam handband, and a Gundam introduction booklet.

For fans who can’t make it to SDCC 2026, the panel program will be streamed simultaneously on the Gundam Channel International at https:/www.youtube.com/@GundamInfo.

Also, there will be an SDCC Gundam booth on the exhibit floor with displays tied to the panel reveal and a closer look at the upcoming video game Gundam Rogue Orbit. There will be Gunpla-kun and Gundam statues on display for photos and event-exclusive merch and giveaways, including Gunpla and figures.

There will be a Gundam workshop where you can assemble your own Gunpla from start to finish. Afterward, you can take your Gunpla model home. This event takes place in Mezzanine 19 at the San Diego Convention Center and runs throughout the day. The event is free, but seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
