New Joker Critics Review TV Spot Dances Online

Joker 2 - Did Todd Phillips Just Confirm A Script?

Joker is almost upon us and whilst the movie has already had its share of controversy, it’s all astounding the majority of critics. The promotional spot above is frankly perfect marketing with Joker doing his probably already iconic stairs dance as the critic highlights flash up on screen. Check it out if you haven’t already clicked.

Honestly, that might be the best promotion of this type I’ve seen, and I’ve seen my fair share. It just literally dances off the screen at you. I was already very keen to see this movie, but the marketing from the start has been excellent and I really think the movie is going to do great business for something that’s not the usual comic book fare. Also, I doubt the controversy will do anything to hurt the movie’s performance, in fact, it’s probably an excellent marketing tool in itself. People will want to see what the fuss is about, as it is Human nature to be curious.

I personally believe that movies should be able to go places that might feel uncomfortable, and as a medium, film can be a great place to really explore issues in a way that seems too remote for people that haven’t experienced real-life horrors first hand. So whilst I can understand the theater in Aurora not wanting to show Joker, I don’t really have the same understanding with others following suit.

What do you think of this latest critic promotional spot, are you seeing Joker in theaters when it hits on October 4th? Put a smile on that face and dance with joy in the usual spot below.
