New Legion Video Recaps The First Season

Last year’s Legion was a pleasant surprise of a show. In a world where we’re getting new superhero stories on the small screen pretty darn regularly, it would have been easy for FX to go a very traditional route with Legion. Instead, we get the mind-bender of a season that was Season 1. Showrunner Noah Hawley really knows how to leave his mark on a show with established source material.

However, if I’m being really honest, while the show was great, good luck trying to get me to remember what happened last season. With its odd, ethereal, and overall trippy nature, it was a bit difficult for me to retain what the hell happened.

Luckily, FX has my back, and has released a video that recaps that odd first season of television. Check out the video above.

If you’ve somehow missed that first season, perhaps this could be an entry point for you to see what you missed, and encourage you to check it out.

Below is the official synopsis for the series:

Legion follows the story of “David Haller,” a man who believed he was schizophrenic but discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world. With help from a team of specialists, David harnessed his unique abilities and learned he’d been haunted by a malicious parasite. Now, David is all that stands in the way of “Amahl Farouk” from attaining infinite and world-ending power.

Legion returns to FX on April 3, 2018.
